Search for a web designer in Weatherford and most of what comes back is somewhere else. Plano, Fort Worth, Lancaster in Pennsylvania, all publishing pages about Parker County. This list is what is left once you take those out.
How did we pick these?
One test above everything else: can you find a real person in Parker County behind the name?
We started from the Parker County Chamber directory, the Weatherford Chamber categories, the BBB listings and the raw search results, then went to each company's own website and wrote down only what it was willing to put in writing. A firm that publishes a street address, a local number and a founding year is making claims you can check. A firm that publishes a city name and a contact form is not. Both can do good work. Only one can be verified, and this site does not rank what it cannot verify.
That standard set the order. Cloud Six is first because it publishes a number, a named contact and a second office address. BurnsBuilt is second because it publishes prices and names the work it shipped, which almost nobody in this category does. Brian Woodson is last because a phone number is very nearly all there is to check.
What we cut, and why it matters. The Weatherford result set is unusually full of dead ends and distant agencies:
- Pro Epic Technology Solutions still shows up in directories as the leading web development company in Parker County for over 15 years. Its domain, proepic.com, now redirects to a GoDaddy page offering it for sale.
- Burch Marketing & Media Solutions is listed at 109 York Avenue with an 817 number and a website at burchmarketing.com. That domain does not resolve.
- TMN Creative is the honest one. It states plainly that it is based at 1300 Summit Avenue in Fort Worth and serves Parker County, and it publishes its prices. Good firm, wrong list.
- Kenny Rhoads, Jones Copywriting & Design and Center Step Marketing all appear in listings with Weatherford addresses. We could not confirm any of the three was currently trading, and the Rhoads listing pairs a Davis Street address with a 480 area code phone number, which is Arizona.
- Toucan Design, Lost Highway Media, LHE Digital, Supfort, Clever Coding and a dozen others run Weatherford city pages from outside the county or outside Texas.
Our disclosure, up front. Hello Web Designs publishes The Very Best of Texas, and because it works statewide our scaffolding tool pre-filled it into this article, labelled as the publisher. We deleted it. Our studio is in Paris, about 150 miles northeast, and we run a Weatherford location page of our own, which puts us squarely in the category we just spent five bullet points criticising. It stays on our Paris list, where it is labelled. Our ranking policy explains how we handle this.
Which Weatherford firm fits which problem?
| Firm | Location verified by | Prices published | Best at | Watch for |
| Cloud Six | Own site, Strawn street address, 817 number | No | WordPress builds with hosting and CRM attached | Award claim we could not confirm |
| BurnsBuilt | Own site, Aledo, 682 number | Yes, $40 to $200 a month | Websites with software or automation behind them | Monthly model means renting, not owning |
| WABW Media Group | Chamber directory and own site | No | Long running full service marketing | No street address anywhere |
| Ningenuity | Own site, phone and email only | No | Web plus IT, hosting, email and phones | No address, no founding year |
| AlphaGraphics Weatherford | Own site, 608 S Main St | No | Print, signage and web as one package | Templates and landing pages, not custom builds |
| Brian Woodson | Own site, phone only | No | One good site with the copy written properly | No address, clients or pricing published |
Read the fourth column before the first. Three of these six are strongest at something other than building a website: Ningenuity at keeping your whole operation running, AlphaGraphics at print and brand consistency, BurnsBuilt at the software behind the site. Hiring the wrong one is the most expensive mistake available here and also the easiest to avoid.
What should you know before you call?
Settle ownership first. Domain in your name, administrator access to hosting and the content management system, your own analytics, your own Google Business Profile. Four of the six firms here attach hosting, a CRM or a rolling monthly plan to the build, and every one of those is fine as long as you know in advance what leaving costs.
Then separate the build from the upkeep. A website needs plugin updates, backups, uptime monitoring and security patching for as long as it exists. Folded into one price, you cannot tell what you are paying for any of it. Ask for the maintenance figure separately even if you fully intend to buy it.
Last, be honest about what is actually broken. If customers cannot find you, that is search. If they find you and leave, that is the site. If they find you, stay and still cannot work out what you sell, that is messaging. Those are three different purchases, and Parker County has a different best answer for each.
What should you do next?
Pick two firms from different rows of that table and ask both the same five questions: who owns the domain, what does the finished site load in, who writes the copy, what does maintenance cost in year two, and can we see something you built for a business like mine in the last year. Then ask to meet at their office. The ones with an address will say yes.
